Well, re-learned a new(ish) thing, but that doesn’t sound as impressive.

I taught myself how to knit years ago because I wanted to learn, but I sort of stopped doing it after a while and forgot most of what I had taught myself. Unlike crochet, which I’ve had years and years of practice doing so it probably wouldn’t take me long to pick up the basics if I stopped doing it for a while, I never built up my muscle memory for knitting. So even though I kinda know what I’m supposed to be doing, it’s hard to make everything work right.

I foresee many dishcloths in my future.

Knitting is both easier and harder than crochet, there’s a lot more to keep track of with twice the tools, but I’m getting the hang of it.

Not too bad, if I do say so myself.
