And it fell on my car.

Ba-dum bump.

It sounds like a bad joke, but it really happened.  I had pulled my car to the end of the driveway and stopped to see if anyone was coming. I checked left -nothing. I turned my head to the right and saw a dark blur fall out of the tree overhead.


There was a squirrel, and a small branch, laying on my hood. The squirrel hopped off, possibly swearing under its tiny squirrel breath that it was never going to climb that tree ever again, and I went to work.

It was a weird morning.
