Lots of stuff this weekend!
My new doorknob for my front door arrived.
Technically it’s called a handleset.
And as a bonus it came wrapped in pink pig paper!
In even bigger news – tile is done! (mostly)
So pretty!
There is so much tile left over that I can do both bathrooms and the kitchen. The kitchen is done in two shades of blue, called Gentian Blue and Band Blue.
Squee!
This required moving the fridge out into the dining area, which would make dining a bit more convenient.
It does fit on that wall…

I don’t know why it always looks so purplish in photos, it’s a really dark blue in person.
You could awesome-up your fridge – all it took was some Bullseye primer and paint. I still need to polyurethane it, though.
Hubs and his dad painted their entire set of kitchen appliances when they were building their house in Florida (Hubs was in high school at the time). For the life of me I can’t remember what color but they wanted them to coordinate with the new kitchen.

I may paint the range hood to match the cabinets once I decide what color to paint them, but I’m leery about painting the stove. I don’t want to poison myself or start another fire.
